Dear JASP Members and Friends,
We are thinking about you and hope you are all safe and healthy in these uncertain times.
The JASP staff has been working remotely since Friday, March 13. All Japan in the Schools visits have been cancelled, but we are working on ways to get educational content about Japan to students and families in Western Pennsylvania. We have also postponed our last Japan Lecture for April and the Spring Seminar & Golf Outing. We hope to be able to reschedule those events later this year. The Japanese-English Reading Circle meetings will be online until further notice.
In the interim, we’re pleased to be able to bring you virtual events from our friends at Japan-America Societies around the country. See the lists below for some of their offerings.
If you or your business have updates, information, or resources that you would like to make available to other JASP members or other JAS members across the country, please let us know. If you or your business need information about other members, resources, or would find a particular program helpful, we will do what we can to be responsive to your needs.
In times when we are physically separated, we appreciate the value of our communities and ties, both near and far. Thank you for your continuing support of The Japan-America Society of Pennsylvania and of the friendships and bridges between us. |

POSTPONED: JASP Spring Seminar & Golf Outing |

This event has been postponed with a tentative rescheduling on Monday, July 6th, 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates.
Network with JASP members and supporters at this day-long event. This is a great opportunity to spend the day with a client, treat employees, or network with industry colleagues while supporting the JASP.
"Hitachi's Growing Investment in Pittsburgh" seminar by executives from Hitachi Rail STS will start the day, followed by lunch and a round on the course. The day will be capped with a raffle of Delta Airlines vouchers!
