The University of Pittsburgh’s Asian Studies Center--in collaboration with the Film and Media Studies Program--is thrilled to announce the launch of SCREENSHOT: ASIA. The festival, which is set to premiere in September 2020, will continue the city’s tradition of bringing Asian arts, stories, and experiences to Southwestern Pennsylvania. Keizai Koho Center Fellowship

Application Open!


Since 1980, the Keizai Koho Center (Japan Institute for Social and Economic Affairs) in cooperation with the National Association of Japan-America Societies (NAJAS) has sponsored a fellowship program to Japan for educators in the U.S. and Canada. The fellowship allows North American social studies teachers to learn firsthand about contemporary Japanese society and enhance their classroom teaching of global perspectives. The deadline for the 2020 program is January 15.
